From the school year 1969 - 70 we started a gradual transition into a four-year secondary school (gymnázium) and planned to end the process in four years. And that was exactly what happened.
During the first years the management fought with lack of space in Dubová and in Cádrová Street, too.
That was the reason for the school to move again into a building in Borská Street, Karlova Ves District in school year 1971 - 72. In early 70s the city of Bratislava started the construction of several new specialized buildings for secondary schools and headmaster Štefanec and his teachers believed that one of them would belong to the Gymnázium in Borská Street. This would rank the school among other advanced schools of Bratislava.
On September 1st, 1975, a new large building in Ladislava Sáru Street was given and since that time used by our school. The designer of the school was architect Kančev and the construction was accomplished by Pozemné stavby Bratislava.
There are 33 classrooms in our school. Some of them serve as specialized classrooms, e.g. specialized language laboratory, specialized biology , computers, Slovak language and literature, ethics, aesthetics and geography classrooms. There are two specialized physics and chemistry laboratories. The specialized classrooms were not established at a time and they have been gradually innovated. There are 21 specialized rooms for teachers with collections of books and teaching aids, which help to improve the educational process. Then there are common room, teachers´ room, headmaster´s office, 5 management offices, dentist´s surgery, pedagogical consultant´s office, school psychologist´s office, 2 gymnasiums, power-training room, mirror room, school canteen, buffet, atrium, economic and technical staff rooms.
